Frankie grew up in West Hartford, CT. He graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Human Physiology. He was an intern with the group as an undergraduate and joined the team as a research assistant following graduation. He is excited to be a part of the team and work in emergency medicine.

Noa Berlin, DVM, DACVECC
Dr. Berlin is a veterinarian specialized in Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Medicine. She has a B.Sc. degree in Biology from Tel-Aviv University, and a Veterinary Medicine degree from the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Following an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Koret Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Dr. Berlin completed a residency in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Her research interests include metabolic resuscitation, ischemia-reperfusion injury, and microcirculatory dysfunction in critical illness.

About Francesca Montillo
Francesca Montillo is originally from Italy but has now been a Bostonian for almost 30 years now. She began her healthcare career working for the Department of Health and Human Services in 2000 and has experience in the private and governmental healthcare sectors. Francesca joined the Center for Resuscitation Science in 2010. As the Program Manager for the team, she manages all administrative responsibilities for the group and enjoys the variety of her role. In 2013, Francesca graduated with honors from Cambridge College School of Management with a Masters Degree in Healthcare Management. She also holds a Bachelors Degree from Suffolk University in Sociology. When not working at the hospital, Francesca can be found writing cookbooks and leading Italian cooking classes. Rahul Pawar, MD
Dr. Pawar completed his medical school from Seth GS Medical College in Mumbai, India and then moved to USA to begin his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Kansas Medical Center. He worked as a hospitalist in a medically underserved area near Nashville, TN. There, while working in an open ICU, he developed interest in the field of Critical Care. He joined BIDMC as a hospitalist and became a part of CRS as a research fellow to work in the field of cardiac arrest and sepsis.
