I am originally from Bethesda, MD. I completed by undergraduate degree (Neuroscience, pre-med) at Amherst College followed by my MD and PhD at Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine. My PhD focus was on cardiovascular dysfunction, cellular signaling, and vascular inflammation. I am currently in my general surgical residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and am completing a research fellowship at MIT in the lab of Dr. Michael Yaffe.
My clinical interests include surgical oncology (HPB); surgical critical care; thoracic surgery. I aim to work with oncology patients using multidisciplinary care and research to deliver high-quality, meaningful, personalized care.
In my free time I enjoy quality time with my husband and two boys, eating at good restaurants, travel, and being active.
