Alyson Yee, MD, PhD is an Emergency Medicine physician and microbiologist. After majoring in biology and French at Tufts University, she worked in a lab at the French Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique as a Fulbright scholar. She went on to receive her MD and PhD from the University of Chicago, where she studied the microbiome in preterm infants. She then completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Currently, she is an attending emergency physician at BIDMC and a postdoctoral scholar at the Broad Institute. Her current research includes single cell RNA sequencing to examine the immune profiles of patients with sepsis.
