About Shivani Mehta

Born and raised in Orlando, FL, Shivani joined CRS as an undergraduate research intern in 2018, joining the team full-time after graduating from Boston University in 2019 with her bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and her minor in Public Health. While in college, Shivani was an emergency medical technician and Applied Behavior Analysis instructor, working with autistic children to promote behavioral development and academic advancement. Shivani is now a medical student at NYITCOM in Old Westbury, NY, and is excited to bring together her passion for critical care research and patient advocacy as a critical care physician.
